Grubby is a good word to describe this place, from the dog poo and cigarette butts littering the grounds to the general state of the 2 bedroom cottage we stayed in, not to mention the state of the machines in the guest laundry. Cracked glass in shower, stained carpets, a motley assortment of barely clean cooking pots and crockery that look like they are op shop purchases. This is a good example of not believing the home page photos and not booking a place that doesn't have many reviews.
